Description
Super rare 1957 jazz album featuring the sublime talents of Don Rendell on tenor sax, Martial Solal on piano, Vinnie Tano (trumpet), Carl Fontana (trombone), Curtis Counce (bass) and Mel Lewis (drums).
The thin front and back laminated flipback sleeve is in really excellent condition for its age, just a little minor creasing and a faint number written in pen on the top flipback. Otherwise it's been extremely well looked after - no damage, tears, seam splits or edge wear and a nice clear readable spine.
The vinyl is very clean for a 64-year-old record – there is one feelable minor scuff which doesn't really impact the audio, the odd bit of crackle and some tics occasionally and some hairlines. It plays really nicely and grades close to excellent.
The red and white Vogue labels are in excellent shape and it comes in a very good condition white inner sleeve.
Rare jazz with a three figure book price - I'm giving it a low start, so don't miss out as copies are few and far between.
