Kerrville Folk Festival 1978 1978 was the first year since the festival moved outdoors that it didn't rain. This was reflected in the increase in business at the gate where capacity 5,000 was reached for the first time. The Music was good too. On almost every performance , good friends were sitting in with each other resulting in some of the rare pairings on this album. The festival was filled with the kind of spontaneity which really makes a festival hum. In a truely unrehearsed performance you can hear Guy Clark ask Buck White if they're going to sing!! These Kerrville records are a timeless snapshot that represent the golden era of Texas music in all it's forms.
