Description

Historic LP from the very first Kerrville Folk Festival held in Kerrville, TX in 1972. Also included is the program from the festival. The LP itself is in very good condition without scratches and warps. The jacket is also in very good condition.
Artists included on the album include: Peter Yarrow (Peter, Paul and Mary), Carolyn Hester, John A. Lomax Jr., Texas Fever, Mance Lipscomb, Dick Barrett, Segle Fry, Robert Shaw, Steve Fromholtz and Bill & Bonnie Hearne.
This first festival was held at the Kerrville Municipal Auditorium. The festival has grown over the last 4 decades to draw performers and those attending from all over the world. It is now held at the Quiet Valley Ranch near Kerrville.
