MEGARARE MINT KEVIN AYRES LP - JOY OF A TOY UK 1970 FIRST PRESS PRE EMI HARVEST A1/B1 MATRIX
I bought this copy the week it came out in 1969 and I have played it a maximum of twice only.
You will not get a better condition disc, it is absolutely impossible to get a better condition disc it has to be one of the finest in existence anywhere in the world.
This LP by the Soft Machine guy Kevin Ayres is titled “joy of a toy“.
It is an original UK 1969 first pressing on the Pre EMI Harvest label.
It comes in a laminated gatefold Ernest J Day cover.
It includes the original Harvest inner sleeve with all the rare LP covers on.
The catalogue number is SHVL763.
The matrix numbers machine stamped into the run out grooves are SHVL 763 A-1 / SHVL 763 B-1 indicating a first press.
The disc is absolutely MINT no marks or scratches on it at all, it looks like it was pressed yesterday. This condition disc is impossible to better.
The cover is in excellent condition.
