Description
This is part of a big auction of King & Federal 45's I'm running this week. There are also a few rare blues & R&B extras. Take a look at my other items and keep an eye out for a Herald/Ember auction starting 8/7 and an all 50's Atlantic Records auction on 8/21.
Here's the info on this item:
Release: Todd Rhodes Orchestra - Rocket 69 / Possessed
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1952
Notes: Great R&B. Awesome vocal by Connie Allen with, let's say, "interesting" double entendre meaning. This group put out quite a few singles in the 50's but never a full album. Has the standard blue labels with silver print.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is very nice and clean with just a couple of stray, faint marks. Plays great with no pops/skips/ticks, etc. There is a slight bit of crackle at the end of side B. Sounds great otherwise, with no other background noise. Labels are nice as well with just a bit of scuffing on each side. Really nice copy overall.
Sleeve Condition: The sleeves on almost all the records I'm selling are pretty much in the same condition: there are wrinkles and some light bends as well as a small pencil number in the top right corner, but no tears or major damage. This particular one has a split most of the way down the right side.
I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.
I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item. If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
