King Crimson - In the Court of the Crimson King - originally released in 1969 on the Pink Island label, this is the second pressing on the Pink Rim label ILPS 9111
Gatefold sleeve in EX-/EX condition overall with some general wear. This cover wears badly and this is a pretty good example.
LP in VG+/EX- condition overall with some light surface marks. I have listened to this LP all the way through on my Linn LP12. Side 1 has a mark on I Talk to the Wind that produces a ticking noise for about 1 min and 20 secs. Also some ticking at the end of Epitaph. Side 2 which for much of it is notoriously very quiet plays WELL with little in the way of imperfections. Not sure you would get this level of honesty about how this LP plays from other sellers. It is very hard to find a copy of this LP that plays very well, I have listened to a few in my time!
Please note when buying records: Any record that is over thirty years old, regardless of the condition, will display some degree of surface noise and have occasional ticks and pops because of dirt in the grooves and the contact of the needle with the vinyl. If you want complete background silence with your music then please buy the CD!
