King Crimson - In the Court of the Crimson King - 1st Edition 12" Vinyl LP - Cat no: ILPS-9111 (STEREO)
Cover - VG+ ( Due to very small name written on the back, same size as the name on the 3rd picture of the label, plus slight wear along the spine, I have another picture but can't upload just yet due to phone problems.)
Vinyl - EX+ ( This has no marks on this album at all, it is the best copy of this album I have ever seen, absolutely stunning )
Labels - VG+ ( As stated earlier B side has a name written in biro, which otherwise should've been Mint. - Pink Island UK )
Matrix numbers: 1LPS 9111 A 2/B//4 (STAMPED) - Year: 1969

The group's definitive album, and one of the most daring debut albums ever recorded by anybody. At the time, it blew all of the progressive/psychedelic competition ( The Moody Blues, The Nice etc.) out of the running, although it was almost too good for the band's own good -- it took King Crimson nearly four years to come up with a record as strong or concise. Ian McDonald's Mellotron is the dominant instrument, along with his saxes and Robert Fripp's guitar, making this a somewhat different-sounding record from everything else they ever did.price rating
