King Crimson, In the Court of the Crimson King
Original UK Pink Island ILPS 9111 from 1969.
Super Rare and fantastic classic mellotron progressive rock masterpiece.
EX / EX (Record / Cover) The record is in very clean, is M- visually.
Record plays with light intermittent surface noise only in the quietest parts and a few light pops
here and there. The record plays clean in all parts with mellotron and plays
magnificent on side 2. 21st Schizoid Man plays nearly clean (only 1 light pop), I talk to the Wind has light surface noise
for the 1st half and the 2nd half plays clean, Epilogue (best track) plays M- with
fantastic killer breathtaking sound quality. The disc is flat and the sound is detailed, dynamic, full, and undistorred.
The disc is a very early pressing and is thick and heavy and nice and flat.
This is an A2 / B3 2nd run matrix still pressed in 69.This pressing has very high quality sound reproduction.
The lightly textured labels are very clean, just a couple of very light spindle marks near the center hole
only on one side. Beautiful gatefold cover has rich original unfaded colors.
Includes original poly lined inner sleeve.
The cover has very light wear just starting with a few minor stains and
a couple of tiny spots colored in that are hard to find, the edges are nice (EX+) and the spine is very nice with no bends.
The inside gatefold is near mint.
The shipping charge includes air mail and strong secure packing materials using cardboard mailers and double inserts.
Overseas shipping also includes extra packing to protect the LPs from airport conveyor systems.
US shipping will be $7.00 for the first LP & $1.50 each after that. Canada & Mexico will be $7.50 for the first LP & $2.00 each after that.
Airmail rates for the UK & Europe will be $14.50 for the first LP & $3.50 each after that.
Airmail for Japan, Korea, Australia, Africa, Taiwan, Hong Kong & any South Pacific countries will be $15.50 for the first LP & $4.50 each after that.
For all locations, double LPs & multi record sets count as 2 or more LPs.
Insurance is available, on request, to US buyers for an additional charge & is recommended, especially on higher priced items.
The cost is $1.75 up to $50 value & $2.25 up to $100 value, $2.75 up to $200, and $4.70 above $200.
Seller is not responsible for refunds or replacement of damaged or lost items that are not insured.
I have never sent a package that has been lost or damaged in the mail. Just to be 100% sure, insurance is an option to be considered.
