Description
First pressing of the King Crimson album - In the wake of Poseidon. Housed in the earlier textured cover . The cover is VG++. It is solid has no tears or writing. The corners are sharp, very little edge wear. The spine is crystal clear & only has very slight wear at the top & bottom corners. This cover is very prone to rubbing & their is a small area of rubbing on the rear, see pictures 5 & 6. Apart from that the front & back covers show no other signs of rubbing. The inside of the gatefold is very clean. Please study the pictures carefully.
Matrices are ILPS 9127 A1 & B1. Visually the vinyl is in VG++ condition(very close to Ex). It does have a couple of unfeelable light mark on each side but these has no effect on the audio. The marks are very difficult to see in daylight but can be seen under a bright light. Their is very light static at the beginning of each side which can be heard at the beginnings of the two very quiet tracks that start each side, but does not interfere with the music. Cadence & Cascade(3rd track) & Peace an end(last track) are also very quiet but played faultlessly. The rest of the record plays as if new. Their are no skips or jumps, no repetitive clicks or pops. Overall audio is easily Ex. The labels are clean & bright.
