Rare Original 1st press UK 45" released in 1963 on the Yellow & Red Pye International Label. Cat: 7N.25231. Comes with original Pye Paper sleeve which is in Excellent condition.
Rambunctious garage band that mixed R&B and rock and was responsible for the definitive version of "Louie, Louie."
These singles are part of a lovely collection of original English 45's brought to Australia over 30 years ago when an English couple migrated to Australia. An avid music fan this gentleman followed many of the bands in the day from the late 50's through the 60's seeing everyone from the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, Animals, Yardbirds, Bo Diddley, Gene Vincent just to name a few. These singles are a great representation of his passion for rock N roll and the many artists who were playing at the time. Most of them are still with original record company paper sleeves and are all in amazing condition considering they are over 50 years old!! I look forward to listening and listing them for you over the next month...
