It is certainly a great honor for me to introduce this album and to introduce two of the most talented people I have known. The talent and spiritual blessings captured on this recording is long overdue. I know the talents and the spirit of Harry Houts and his wife, Elaine, will be a blessing to all who play and replay this recording. Harry has a good musical background, having attended the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, and being graduated from Trinity College in Clearwater, Florida. His wife, Elaine, attended Nyack Missionary College in Nyack, New York; the Trinity College in Clearwater, Florida, and has ten years of musical training. She is now actively engaged in teaching music and is pianist at Temple Baptist Church in Kingsport, Tennessee. It gives me a great deal of pleasure to also introduce the Temple Baptist Church Choir, under the direction of T. Vernon McCray, who provides assistance to Mr. and Mrs. Houts in two selections, "HOW GREAT THOU ART"and "THERE'S ROOM AT THE CROSS FOR YOU". The Houts maybe heard on many "Bible Today Hour" programs, on radio, and at the Temple Baptist Church on many occasions, as well as personal appearances at other fundamental, Bible-believing gatherings. They hail from Pennsylvania. They have two children, Timothy and Petrinia. The family now resides at 1553 Kings Road, Kingsport, Tennessee. In my travels across this country and into several foreign countries , I have met few people as musically talented as these people. They offer a wholesome, spirit-filled, soul-searching rendition in each prayerfully selected song. About two years ago Harry and Elaine came to our Church in search of a Church home. The surprising talents of these folk blended per- fectly with our Church, to be warm, friendly, evangelistic, and soul-conscious. This is the type music you will find on this album. Will you seek prayerfully to get your los t family, friends, and neigh- bors to hear this album and also see that an album is placed in the home of every Christian who loves GOOD music.
