Original 1st US pressing factory sealed copy of Kiss’ 2nd studio album “Hotter Than Hell” released by Casablanca Records on October 22, 1974. Some interesting facts about this album. In the subsequent Kiss’ live shows the setlist included mainly the songs from this album. Original 1st print cover is known due to its vivid and colorful design inspired by the Japanese Kabuki theater in order to emphasize the dramatic and intense nature of the album. It’s interesting to note that the title of the album in Japanese is translated as “Hell’s Scream” as well as the fact that the band members’ names contain some errors when they were translated into the Japanese alphabet, thus for example, Ace Frehley is indicated as “Ace Fury”. This 1st pressing issue remains factory sealed with the fully intact shrink wrap containing the original breathe holes on the front cover and is in Mint condition. At the moment of the album’s release, the contract between Casablanca Records and Warner Bros. expired and therefore, this issue contains the 1st print 2nd generation blue Bogart “Smoking Man” label without the Warner Bros. and Sunset Boulevard address.
