This is the one that almost didn't start it all!
Kiss was actually a tiiny blip on the R&R radar in 1974, playing one of their first gigs here on a flat-bed trailer at a KSHE Kite-fly. In fact, they were on the way to being dropped from their label (Casablanca). And it was only through an insidious fake double-live (in-the-studio) LP, that they were able to convince people they were actually a popular band. So a lot of their early stuff is -super-scarce. This was the first. Stock copies are probably as rare as the promos, a few thousand or each, probably. ...in mint condition, in the crisp but lightly yellowed generic jacket it was issued in (if you want a company sleeve I have them, but if you're interested, it came with this sleeve) For a group that truly engaged in a mythical mixture of music and marketing, from records to coffins, this is their humble beginning. Oh, and even better its about Butt-sex, apparently!

Some truly rare white labels and minty soul. WE DIG THE DEEPEST! When in doubt check out youtube for a listen, 'cause these are the coolest and the rarest! What's the big deal about promos?? Well in the case of many major labels, promos were pressed separate from stock copies. In many cases, such as A&M, CBS and MOTOWN etc, they were pressed on pure virgin vinyl, unlike STYRENE which was used for their stock copies. The sound and quality is markedly better and not to mention the rarity of them, in many cases being one out of many thousand copies. So if you see "audiophile" posted in my 45 auctions, you can be sure it's a high quality VINYL pressing, not a styrene copy. Most of these have been in storage, in their original mailer envelopes with sequential numbered discs (check the new auctions and you will see several sequential rare label promos in their original state with their label mates as they were mailed) and many appear as new-old stock and promos! Often these were packaged in numbers of 2 or more in mailers with the complete output of the label for a time period. Check the pic and refer to the auction title for conditions and issues. All auctions are guaranteed and I automatically combine shipping for the best deal domestically and internationally and ship in custom made double thick cardboard, made to order. All 45's are shipped in sleeves (company matching most of the time) cleaned and protected.
