This item is for sale in the UK only Klemperer Beethoven Choral Philharmonia - Symphony No 9 in D minor - UK first pressing Columbia Blue/Silver stereo 2 LP set. Columbia SAX 2276 and SAX 2277. Record 1 Matrix numbers YAX 69-15 and YAX 70-8. Record 2 Matrix numbers YAX 71-10 and YAX 72-4 The records have been played recently and both play well throughout. They come with their original inner sleeves. Generally the records have been graded VG and sleeves as EX minus but see details below. Record and sleeve gradings are as detailed below and are in accordance with the standard record collector grading system. RECORD 1 —- Vinyl —- Visually side one looks excellent plus. Side 2 has one small light hairline (not audible) but is otherwise visually excellent. The labels on both sides are excellent. AUDIO —- VG+/EX- Both sides play well throughout with some minor surface background noise in the quiet parts, hence the lower grade on the audio. RECORD 1 — Sleeve grading — Laminations split on the front outer edge of front cover (see photo) otherwise Excellent. RECORD 2 —- Vinyl —- Visually both sides look excellent plus. The labels on both sides are excellent. AUDIO —- VG . Some background noise/crackles in the quiet parts but both sides play well throughout. Overall sound quality is only graded VG due to the background noise even though the vinyl looks EX+. RECORD 2 — Sleeve grading — Excellent.
Overall a nice pair of first pressing stereo LPs which play well throughout with some background noise hence the lower grading of VG even though visually they look excellent This item is for sale in UK only
