The Beatles (White Album)‘The BEATLES’
This Set comprises:
TWO ORIGINAL UK FIRST ISSUE MONO VINYL LPs,
Four ORIGINAL Full Colour GLOSSY PHOTOGRAPHS – one of each Beatle,
an ORIGINAL Large Format, Double Sided, Lyric POSTER printed by Garrod and Lofthouse,
The set is housed within its ORIGINAL, First Issue, Fully Laminated TOP OPENING, NUMBERED GATEFOLD Sleeve.
LP Description:
All four record labels are in Excellent condition, clean record labels with clear undamaged printed text, showing a few light centre spindle lines to each label. There are a few surface scratches to the vinyls but all play well.
Disc 1, Side 1 matrix XEX 709-1 & Side 2: XEX 710-1.
Disc 1, Side 1 stampers: TD & Side 2 stampers are: LH.
Disc 2, Side 3 matrix: XEX 711-1 & Side 4: XEX 712-1.
Disc 2, Side 3 stampers: RD & Side 4 stampers: GT.
Both Vinyl LPs are in Excellent Minus to Excellent condition, clean bright glossy vinyl showing just light surface hairline scratches, these visible hairline scratches do not effect the play quality, there are no deep scratches or scuffs to any of the vinyl surfaces.
….And are housed in it’s ORIGINAL, FULLY LAMINATED Garrod and Lofthouse GATEFOLD Sleeve. This FIRST ISSUE Sleeve is TOP OPENING and NUMBER 0055841
‘The Beatles’ is debossed a little way up above the number. The sleeve opens out to reveal black and white portraits of each of The Beatles together with the track listing, the gatefold sleeve shows signs of age, is a bit yellowed and has a few creases. There is only a very fine burr to the opening edge, the spine is in great condition with only a tiny spot of loss to the laminate on each of the corners.
Inside, there is some discolouration due to age and a mark down one seam where the previous owner had written their name, it is small and discreet and the ink has been removed.
There are Four ORIGINAL Full Colour GLOSSY PHOTOGRAPHS – one of each Beatle, There is a crease to the bottom left corner of Paul (see photo) and George has a light crease to the bottom right corner. John and ringo are fine.
The ORIGINAL Large Format, Double Sided, Lyric POSTER printed by Garrod and Lofthouse, is sadly discoloured and damaged and has sellotape repairs, these wouldve been made long ago because they have discoloured also.
