Description
Excellent vintage jazz LP featuring LARS GULLIN on the EmARCY label, from 1953. Title is “Lars Gullin,” catalog number is MG 36012. Label is blue with silver print, deep groove, silver ring at outer edge of label (see scan). Jacket reverse has blue print.
Personnel are as follows: Lars Gullin – baritone sax, Carl-Henrik Norin – tenor sax, Rolf Berg – guitar, George Riedel – bass, Alan Dawson, Bo Stoor – drums.
Jacket is in overall nice condition. Laminated artwork is bright and clean. As typical with EmArcy albums of this era, the paper borders and reverse show some darkening with age. There is some darker spotting along top reverse and down the edges. No writing, splits, or stickers. Overall a very presentable EmArcy jacket.
Vinyl grades EX+ very close to near mint, full 100% gloss, a couple very slight paper scuffs (not audible), no serious marks, plays beautifully! Label has no spindle marks, appears to have been played no more than one or two times and handled with care. I think the winning bidder will be very pleased.
Side A contains following songs: “Bugs” (Gullin), “Jump For Fan” (Gullin), “Lars Meets Jeff” (Gullin), and “A La Carte” (Riedel).
Side Two contains following tunes: “Stock and Bonds” (Riedel), “I Fall In Love Too Easily” (Styne-Cahn), “Manchester Fog” (Gullin), and “ Soho” (Gullin).
