Condition -
LP, there are No scratches or marks at all looks bright as new viewed under a strong light, mint condition both sides. the cover has just the slightest wear hardly mentionable, no tears or fading at all. The inner sleeve is also in as new condition. although very lightly used the album is as near to original mint as you can get. This LP is part of my well looked after private collection ever since I purchased it new, having seen very little occasional use and has been well stored and looked after and plays perfectly through my adc diamond cartridge and SME titanium Arm setup. please see all photos for more detail.
Description - Of course avant-garde commentaries trip over each other to embrace this album, yet Big Science was so much more than merely being avant-garde … it was accessible, perplexing, intoxicating and dreamy, just listening to these tracks was akin to walking spiraling up through the Guggenheim museum. The album can be a bit scary, due mostly to Anderson’s deadpan delivery, while other tracks often come off as being prophetic and filled with nonchalant wisdom. Big Science floats though one’s subconscious from the first note to the last, fused with tight intervals of excellent musicianship, even if those intervals seem a bit skewed, though that being said, each track on this record is blissful and totally original even after 37 years since its conception, Still a superb album to have.
