Description
Baidaphon B 082397/082398 (10.5" disc)
Artist: Faragallah Effendi Baida
Tracks: Oumou Ektefou el Ward / Yaman Alaya Endaou
Very nice early Middle Eastern disc from Lebanon, during the early 1920s (roughly). Accompanied by violin and qanun.
Condition: VV+ to V+ (or better - plays with light wear and a couple of moments of near-distortion but nothing truly offensive - small bump/warp at edge of record which plays through with some weight)
I will be selling a lot of amazing discs from around the world in the coming months. Please bookmark me and check back in.
