LED ZEPPELIN 2 :- Original 1969 UK maroon / red 'white band' label Atlantic 588198 Stereo LP .

First Issue with side one label stating "The Lemon Song"............ and side two label has the Label Error "Livin' Lovin' Wreck"

Only the very first issues of the LP had the incorrect labels , and as soon as the error was noticed , were reprinted as "Livin' Lovin' Maid"................Later copies also later replaced "The Lemon Song" with "Killing Floor".............. Complete with the original 'light brown' Gatefold Sleeve ...................

Always a difficult original LP to track down...................................

Condition of Vinyl:- Both sides of the disc have only the very lightest of use , no marks .......possibly a couple of 'in and out of the liner sleeve' surface traces evident beneath a light .............. Fantastic sound quality throughout : Graded at MINT minus condition.

Label Condition:- Both labels have no wear, very light spindle use : MINT minus condition.

Condition of Sleeve:- The Gatefold Sleeve is bright , crisp and clean , with light use only ................very light edge use , great tight spine ........... very mild ring impression on rear only : Carefully Graded at Very Near EXCELLENT condition.

From the first grinding notes of the famous vamp that introduces "Whole Lotta Love," Led Zeppelin 11 announces for all to hear that they are the definitive hard rock band of their generation. But before the listener can even settle into the groove, things takes a hard left turn into a spacey new rhythm, exotically flavored by Page's droning feedback and innovative use of a violin bow. By tune's end, Zeppelin has repeatedly toyed with the listener's expectations. This subversive quality distinguishes most of the arrangements on this album, as in the soft/hard dynamic shifts of "What Is And What Should Never Be," the gospelish mood of "Thank You," the rocking vamps and funk rhythms of such greats as "Heartbreaker", and the country music echoes of "Ramble On." And in their appropriations of source materials from Howlin' Wolf, Robert Johnson, and Sonny Boy Williamson, Page and company continued to mine the rich vein of the blues.

I do not believe it is necessary to use the eBay buzzwords such as 'Stunning!! Rare!! Awsome!!, padded out with grossly long winded descriptions , many of the 'experts' who use this method of selling also add technical information , which is totally unfounded and incorrect to actual facts , and would be laughable , but for the fact that it is misleading........ I take time and care to grade items correctly and only list quality records, with concise and accurate grading descriptions......................

I have been a lifelong music fan , my first concert visit was in 1957 (Birmingham Town Hall Skiffle Contest!) and have bought records of all the great music since 1959 , and had the privelege of seeing most of the great artists live too (I saw The Beatles twice........and Segovia!)
