Description

Artist: Led Zeppelin Title: 4 Label: Atlantic Cat No: 2401012 Year: 1971 Country: UK
I am in the process of selling my Record Collection which I have gathered over 50 years. This is the original rare 1971 UK Pressing of  Led Zeppelin 4 on the Red/Plum Atlantic label (later versions were on Green/Orange label design) it comes with its original flap over textured inner lyric sleeve  - Matrix: Side 1 - 2401012 A//3 `PECKO DUCK`  Side 2 - 2401012 B//4 `PORKY`
Vinyl (EX) Nice condition, plays through great with no jumps or sticks, no feelable scratches, under bright halogen lights I can see some light sleeve removal scuffs
Sleeve (VG+) - Delicate matt finish gatefold sleeve, very prone to wear, this is a decent copy with some edge wear and Kinney distribution sticker on rear (Please see photos for complete overview)
Inserts - comes with original rare 1st issue (1st issues have the fold over flaps seen on the track listing side) delicate textured inner lyric sleeve, which has the usual side splits and a couple of small tears (see photos)
Labels: clean labels showing some visible spindle lines

I am in the process of selling lots of obscure & rare Records/CD`s, I will be posting regularly why not check them out!

I use professionally made packers with card stiffeners & record removed from album cover

I use lots of photos to show as accurately as possible what you are getting (also I dont cut the corners of the record sleeve off the picture!!)

Gradings: I use the standard UK gradings as set out in Record Collector Magazine below:

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Near Mint,  EX+, VG+ etc are acceptable additions to help `fine tune` descriptions for the buyer
