Rare early first pressing of Led Zeppelin I on the Atlantic Plum Label. Cover has the grey lower stripe. A//1 and B//1 Matrix numbers with the corrected matrix numbers with the 588171 the third 8 crossed out and regrooved above in wax.
Laminated cover with grey stripe on bottom is in Excellent Condition. Some minor laminate creasing to front and edges. Some minor spinal creasing all text fully ledgible. Nice clean cover. The rear cover has the following text. UPTIGHT AN' OUTASIGHT is the official Atlantic Appreciation Society at 17/19, Stratford Place, London, W.1." Cover by MacNeill Press., London S.E.1.
Vinyl is in Very Good Condition both audio/appearence. Some minor hairlines on both sides of the disc, and small paper rubs, (do not detract from the audio enjoyment). Thick pressed vinyl retains its sheen, and has relativey clean labels and minimal spindle wear. There is occasional light surface noise and odd pop and crackle but nothing to really detract from the sound of this album. Comes in plain white inner with "PATENT APPLIED FOR" "MADE IN ENGLAND"
