Description

So, after five decades of collecting vinyl and Hi-Fi, the time has finally come to downsize.  Over the next few months, with great reluctance, I will be gradually selling off my treasured collection of records, cds and hi-fi equipment.  It will take a while !!! For sale by no-reserve auction is an overall excellent condition copy of a second pressing from 1971 of 'LED ZEPPELIN II'.    It is a true second pressing with :
red/plum labels track A3 as 'THE LEMON SONG' track B2 as 'LIVIN' LOVIN' MAID (SHE'S A WOMAN)' mistyping of track A4 as THANKYOU Copyright Control on the labels unlaminated gatefold sleeve catalogue number 588198 on the labels and 588 198 on the spine A2/B5 matrices in the runout grooves 
The overall condition of the album is very good plus/excellent.  It would be a superb addition to any record collection.  The sleeve is in very good/excellent condition but it does have some areas of wear.  There is some wear on the corners and edges and a small amount of ringwear on the rear.  You should be able to see these areas in the photos.  No writing or other marks.  The spine is clear and fully readable.  Please study all the photos to see the condition for yourself.   The labels are in excellent condition but there are some light 'spindle trails'.  The record is also in excellent condition with just a few light surface marks from the inner sleeve.  It plays superbly in high quality with only occasional surface noise and the occasional 'pop'.  The sound quality is excellent for an album of this age.  I honestly think you would be hard-pressed to find a better example of this incredible album. I am very open to sensible offers so please get in touch if you would like to make one.  The album will be wrapped in bubblewrap before posting to ensure that it does not get damaged on its journey.  I will dispatch it in a proper record mailer and will post within one working day of purchase by Special Delivery post so that it gets on its way to you as soon as possible.  Although expensive, it does guarantee next-day delivery before 1pm and, most importantly, fully insures the record which is safer for you and for me.
