SLEEVE: EX
The notoriously fragile Gimmix sleeve in in great condition. The pinwheel works perfectly and is still firmly moored to the sleeve proper. There are no dings or tears or rips around the holes no anywhere else on the sleeve. The surfaces are bright and clean with some slight discolouration to the white rear and a small scuff to the bottom of the front of the sleeve. The edges are sharp and crisp. The spine is straight and true with no breaks although it sits at an angle. All lettering to the spine is clear and clean.
RECORD: VG
The record is in very good condition with excellent audio. Under bright light the record shows a number of light marks to both sides. There are no deep or feelable scratches. The record plays through really well (much better than I was expecting). There is some light intermittent background audible during some quieter passages. This is minimal. There is a repetitive pop for 3 or 4 revolutions dueing band 3 side 2. A really great listen.
The above record grading is based on Record Collector magazine system:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
