Description

Hello!  Here is an Original Canadian Pressing of Led Zeppelin III, Atlantic SD 7201.  This is the first-issue Red Label with "Manufactured and Distributed in Canada by Warner Bros. Records of Canada Ltd."  Later issues have "Distributed by WEA Music of Canada".  The first press Canadian issue of Led Zeppelin III is unique because it has a slightly different eq from the early U.S. and U.K. pressings with deep bass and smooth highs.  
Matrix:  Side 1 - W STA-702005-4 TG               Side 2 - W STA-702006-4 TG
The Original Gatefold Cover with the Spinning Pinwheel shows light wear and is at least in VG condition!  There is slight wear to the top and bottom edges, as well as the corners.  The opening edge still retains a sharpness;  "Printed in Canada" is shown along the spine, which is Nice and legible!  Overall, a Study and Clean cover with the basic flaws from shelving, No Splits or other major imperfections!
The Vinyl is in VG condition showing signs of careful play.  There are hairlines and a few wisp marks that are only detectable under a strong light;  No major scratches or gouges!  Surface retains a Nice sheen and threads are quite Glossy!  Overall, an exceptional, original Canadian pressing that does not grade Near Mint, but is still in reasonable condition for its age!  I cannot make a guarantee on playback, but on my system, it played through without any pops, or ticks, only very minimal surface noise in a few spots, and No skips!  
Labels - VG with spindle traces on both sides.
