Description

LED ZEPPELIN
UNTITLED  (LED ZEPPELIN 4)
ATLANTIC RECORDS 1971
2401012 DELUXE

RED/ PLUM LABELS, ORIGINAL PRESS.  I THINK AS FAR AS I CAN SEE THAT THIS IS VERSION 8 OF 8 VERSIONS.  GATEFOLD SLEEVE, ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVE.
VINYL IS IN REALLY GOOD CONDITION, STILL VERY GLOSSY. SIDE ONE DOES HAVE A FEW LIGHT MARKS, ONE LONGISH CURVED SCRATCH MARK, BUT THIS IS NOT DEEP, IT CANNOT BE FELT TO THE LIGHT TOUCH, AND DOES NOT AFFECT PLAY.
SIDE 2 IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.  LABELS ARE BRIGHT AND CLEAN WITH NO WRITING. HARDLY ANY SPINDLE MARKS AT ALL.
GATEFOLD OUTER SLEEVE IS EXCELLENT- JUST A FAINT STICKER REMOVAL MARK IN TOP RIGHT CORNER. SLIGHT RUBBING TO CORNERS, NO CREASES. ORIGINAL ATLANTIC RECORD CODE STICKER ON BACK COVER.
ORIGINAL GREYISH BROWN THICK PAPER INNER SLEEVE IN GOOD CONDITION- A SMALL TEAR TO OPENING ON CREDIT SIDE, WITH A COUPLE OF FAINT HANDLING MARKS.  STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN LYRICS SIDE EXCELLENT.
A REALLY NICE ORIGINAL VINYL, HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION, BEING NEARLY 50 YEARS OLD!
WILL BE SENT SAFELY PACKED WITH TRACKING. SUPPLIED WITH A NEW POLY-LINED INNER SLEEVE, AND BRAND NEW HEAVY DUTY CLEAR PVC OUTER SLEEVE.
CAN BE POSTED WORLDWIDE, PLEASE CHECK POSTAGE CHARGES FOR YOUR COUNTRY.
THANKS FOR LOOKING!

Led Zeppelin ?– Untitled

Genre: Rock Style: Hard Rock, Classic Rock, Blues Rock Year: 1971 Notes: The fourth Led Zeppelin album, intentionally left untitled, with no indication it was by Led Zeppelin on original release - though many have commonly referred to it as "Led Zeppelin IV", "Zoso", "Symbols" or other unofficial titles.

In the UK, there are at least eight known vinyl red/plum 7-digit Deluxe cat# versions. To help simplify Release Notes, it may be easier to add the Version Number as below (Plus any potential variants to that numbered Version):
1. Label: Version 1
Original issue, Grant credit & inverted feather logo on B-side
2. Label: Version 2
As Version 1, but with feather logo corrected on B-side.
3. Label: Version 3
As Version 1 misprinted inverted feather logo on B-side, but with two label over-stickers.
4. Label: Version 4
Grant credit erased by 2 label over-stickers to Version 2. One adding band name at top, the other adding publishers/producer at bottom.
5. Label: Version 5
Stickers replaced by printed credits for the Version 3 data. However, B-side has title wrongly as 'Misty Mountain Top'. "Under licence..." text also added below Atlantic logo.
6. Label: Version 6
As Version 5, but Yet the feather logo is again inverted on B-side.
7. Label: Version 7
B-side track corrected to 'Misty Mountain Hop' and yet the feather logo is again inverted on B-side.
8. Label: Version 8
As Version 5, but B-side track corrected to 'Misty Mountain Hop' and the feather logo on B-side corrected and is the right way up.
Furthermore: A 'Grant' text credit may still be extant on the grey liner of the Version 3 issues and onward.
(Kinney 'K' cat# prefixes then followed, on Atlantic orange/green labels)
