Description

This is an Auction for the debut Lp by Led Zeppelin released in the Uk in 1969 on Atlantic records Catalogue number Atlantic 588171. This is an early press with the Warners Credit and is in superb condition throughout and has probably only been played a few times.

The Sleeve with the Orange lettering and grey strip along the bottom is in Excellent+ condition. There is some very very light creasing to the front but it still looks great. The pinched spine looks particularly good.

The Vinyl is visually in Excellent++ condition with a lovely sheen and once again looks superb. It sits nice and flat on the turntable and plays through without any skips or jumps. There is some very light background noise but on the whole this album thunders highlighting that the only way to really appreciate this Lp . Overall i would grade the Audio as Excellent+ if not better for a 41 year old Lp.

The labels are in Excellent++ condition with no spindle marks and the plastic still showing in the holes on side 2 highlighting how little this lp has been played.

The Lp comes with its original inner sleeve British Patent No 800513 and 073939 which is also in exceptional condition. The Lp will be sent in a new inner sleeve seperate from the main sleeve.

OVERALL A SUPERB COPY OF THIS RARE LP.

PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT MY OTHER LISTINGS FOR OTHER CLASSIC ROCK LPS.

I use the Record Collector guide to grade my records-see below

The Lp will be sent in professional mailers and will be sent in the Uk at a cost of  £3.00. The cost of postage in Europe is £8.00 which includes international signed for delivery as mandatory . Please note that i combine shipping for multiple buys. Anyone bidding who does not have feedback will have their bid cancelled straight away. I am very sorry about this but again this is due to problems experienced in the past. Anyone without feedback and who wants to bid please contact me first.

Grading:- MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
