Blue Note 4034 original FIRST Mono pressing
RVG is machine-stamped in the dead-wax, along with "ear"
Mastering (lacquer-cutting) AND recording by Rudy Van Gelder!
Labels have the 47 WEST 63rd - NYC address,
Jacket has the 43 West 61st St., New York 23 address.
Clean labels WITH that "deep groove"
Nice THICK HEAVY pressing
Vinyl is VISUALLY Graded:
Vinyl looks vg+ to VG++ on both sides
VG+ or better jacket condition: minor corner wear,
small set of staple holes in the upper-right corner,
small quarter inch rip in the middle of the opening edge;
and except for a quarter inch split in the upper-right corner,
the spine and seams are intact!
Front laminate has some creasing, but the outer layer
is still thick and glossy with very little obvious shelf-wear,
and no obvious compression; Back side has light,
even yellowing, and minimal shelf-wear;
GREAT very detailed, fine-print liner notes by NAT HENTOFF.
