Nice black sheen completely flat and very good (VG) condition vinyl - there are a number of wispy hairlines and fine scuff marks on each side, more obvious when viewed closely under a bright light, all of which seem to be superficial and not below the surface except for two small hairlines, each of which is just feelable and do cause some light background clicking (see below). Each label is excellent with the only blemishes being some small and very faint spindle lines adjacent to the centre hole on each label, and the iconic large Vertigo Swirl logo and black text remain in excellent order. Very good (VG) condition non-laminated original Howards Printers UK outer gatefold sleeve. Each edge remains firm but there is obvious and continuous scuffing on each of the top and bottom edges and similarly noticeable intermittent scuffing on the spine. There is also scuffing on each corner, noticeable ring wear on the reverse side and interior of the gatefold, and the other blemish of note is an area of scuffing towards the front-side top right corner which has been coloured in with a blue crayon. I have attempted to show each of these blemishes in my photos so do take a good look. On the positive side there is no unwanted writing, no seam splits, no cardboard creasing, and all colours, art work, photos and text remain largely intact. Overall very good plus (VG+) STEREO audio quality with no skips, jumps, repeats, sticks, nasty clicks, interference or distortion and any background crackle is very occasional and at an absolute minimum. The aforementioned just feelable x2 wispy hairlines (1cm and 2.5cm respectively) result in x6 very light background clicks during A1 and some very light background rotational clicking during the first half of B3. You might also come across the very occasional and very light background click elsewhere but certainly nothing nasty and every track remains an excellent listen with impressive tone and clarity. Comes with very good plus condition poly-lined Vertigo Swirl inner sleeve - no seam splits or tears, some very minor age discolouration, and just a little creasing in the corners.
Clearly a number of obvious blemishes but still desirable, still collectable, and certainly still very listenable!

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
