Description

This is the original London cast recording of 'Les Miserables'. This copy is the first edition 2 record set from 1985 (UK FIRST NIGHT ENCORE 1) and is an early release with no barcode. I bought this copy myself having just seen the London performance, have had the album ever since and it has been well looked after.
The records show some use in that there are quite a few hairline marks to both records and some surface noise. There is a light sounding scratch on record 2, Side 3 in the track 'On My Own' that lasts approximately 25 secs/35 revolutions. Other than that, the records play extremely well with no other sounding scratches or skips etc.
The gatefold sleeve is in very good condition and the inner sleeves are in good condition with the lyrics clear and clean with no foxing etc. and are the nice, thicker inner covers that came with the earlier non barcode versions. Some minor damage to the top of the inner sleeve of record 2 (Please see photos as these form an important part of the description) but as this is a rare, very early edition it is in remarkable condition considering it is now 40 years old!
