LITTLE STEVIE WONDER - THE 12 Year Old Genius RECORDED LIVE - MEGA MEGA RARE UK Oriole Mono Vinyl LP with E.J. Day Laminate flip-back sleeve (which is in very nice shape). Unfortunately there are some problems with the vinyl, though some of the time the LP plays to a Very Good standard. Although there are problems, there is NO distortion. For a more detailed analysis of the playing quality see below, however I would stress that this LP should NOT be considered for its playing quality. If you are thinking of bidding it will be because of the incredible rarity of this pressing - valued at £200 MINT by the UK Record Collector 'Rare Record Price Guide'

Good Condition.

SLEEVE:                     

VG (The laminate front is in great shape and would grade as near to Excellent. The rear unfortunately has some spots of staining.)

INNER SLEEVE:          

Original Plain poly lined inner

VINYL:                        

GOOD   - There are quite a few surface scratches, some of them not serious, some of them cause problems. I have played the entire album and 50% of the time it plays to a good standard with occasional crackle only. There is NO distortion. I played LOUD and the audio quality was often excellent! However a few tracks have some playing problems so I have listed each track individually:

FINGERTIPS - Minor Crackle only, plays pretty well /

SOUL BONGO - Very minor crackle, plays as near excellent /

LA LA LA LA LA - Lots of 'pops' at the start and a few jumps - virtually unplayable i'm afraid! /

THE MASQUERADE IS OVER - Very Bad - Some unpleasant clicks, pops & crackle, again I would say unplayable /

HALLELUJAH I LOVE HER SO - Good - Minor Crackle and a little occasional surface noise, not too bad but not great either! /

DROWN IN MY OWN TEARS - Very Good - Generally plays very well /

DON'T YOU KNOW - EX - Plays well

GRADINGS

When grading records and CD’s I follow the standard UK grading system as defined by Record Collector Magazine. This is the most widely used guide and respected by Collectors Worldwide.

MINT (M) – Record is in brand new condition. The cover and all extra items are present and in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX) – The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG) – The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items (without any major defects) is acceptable.

I always grade honestly and accurately and unless a record is extremely rare I never sell anything with a grading below VG-
