Italian composer/pianist Daniele Lombardi performs live in concert works by SYLVAN BUSSOTTI, “Autotono”, JOHN CAGE, “Music for Marcel Duchamp” & “A Valentine Out of Season” both for prepared piano, DANIELE LOMBARDI “Four Studies in Memory of Chopin”, WILLIAM HELLERMAN, “At Sea” for piano & tape and finally LA MONTE YOUNG, “Composition No. 7” 1960. Fantastic recording by this important keyboard musician. Very scarce release and Lombardi’s first. Rarely offered on eBay. Don’t miss it!
Record is in NEAR MINT+ condition and fantastic graphic gatefold jacket is NM. Impossible to find in this condition.
I recently acquired a small but superb collection of modern, experimental, improvised, & electronic music. I will be offering 50 or so items from this collection at the end of each month. This kind of material rarely surfaces so keep looking for future auctions.
