Description

A classic performance by Louis Armstrong and his Hot Seven recorded in Chicago on 11 May and 14 May 1927. Visually the record is about VG , with some marked needle wear on side A (Weary), but somewhat less on the B side. Record is greying and well played with scrapes/scratches but there is some gloss left. Aurally it plays better with slightly rough starts for a few seconds, generally good fidelity and even, low background noise and very light distortion in a few passages. Music is very loud and clear throughout both sides and no skips/jumps. A very rare record in reasonable played condition which belies its visual appearance, plays rather well and is well worth collecting.
