Description:
(NO RESERVE PRICE) ------- **RARE** LP RECORD ---------- The Record itself is in WORN CONDITION (Not worth mentioning). The Labels are OK. THE RECORD DOES NOT COMPARE TO THE CONDITION OF THE COVER. ------------ No holes or cuts on the Cover. -------- The Cover is overall is in Excellent Condition. -------- Shows light age yellowing around the outside edges on front and back. -------- The front shows a trace/no ringwear. The back shows some ringwear. This Cover visually appears, no doubt, had the original shrinkwrap for an extended time until someone decided to take it off. -------- There are a few light indentations on the front. They are SOFT pressure dots or pressure scuff lines. None of these indentations are writing or affect the print. I will attempt to show these minor flaws in the pictures. ---- There is a scuff line that runs from the top seam to John's left shoulder. A small 1/4 inch double line to the left of John's head. Four or five tiny dots above John's left hand. Two or three, 1/4 inch lines along the mouth or opening. One dot on the bottom left corner. -------- SEAMS AND CORNERS: The top left corner is OK. The top right corner seam is spliting 1/8 inch from mouth. The bottom left corner bind seam has a little cracking. The bottom right corner has a bump and a 1 inch split from the mouth. -------- There is no inner paper sleeve. ========================================================================================= "ORIGINAL 2nd STATE BUTCHER COVER PASTEOVER WITH SLICK ON FRONT" -------- "YESTERDAY AND TODAY" ---- 1966 Capitol MONO T-2553. -------- One of the rarest BEATLES Records. -------- This Cover has the unpeeled "Trunk Slick Cover" completely still intact. There has been no attempt to remove the slick. It is strongly recommended not removing the "Trunk Cover" because of easy damage, and because there are fewer intact "paste over" jackets known to exist. -------- You can clearly see Ringo's black V-neck shirt through the white cover slick. -------- There are 5 small round impressions (hard-to-see) running up and down the right side of the Cover. These are suction cup impressions left from the repasting process and verifies this Cover is from Los Angeles. -------- The front "Pasteover Slick" was offset and a portion of the "Butcher Slick" could be seen along the bottom left and top left edge. -------- The back of the Cover shows the number 6 next to the RIAA emblem. -------- The Record matrix number on the "dead wax" shows T-1-2553-G-20. -------- THIS COVER IS A "MUST KEEP" COLLECTIBLE.
