- For sale is an authentic, mono copy of The Beatles butcher cover paste-over album aka ‘2nd State’ jacket. Issued in 1966, this recalled LP was pasted over with the familiar trunk cover slick. This copy still has a nice white cover. These tend to yelo. over time. There’s a faded name or initials in top left corner. Approx. 2” of paper loss at spine center. Comes with original inner slv. & record. The LP grades about VG+ or so w/initials on labels but this auction is more about the jacket. The RIAA #6 on back indicates Los Angeles, CA pressing plant. As an added bonus included in the auction the winner will receive a reproduction mono butcher slick - same size & color of the original and a copy of the letter of recall.
Listed at 19.66 - the year released - to give everyone a fair shot at it owning this desirable collectible!
