Description
Released in 1968. All other MONO versions I've seen, including one on discogs and Popsike, had a "Audition Not for Sale MONO LP" sticker on top of the jacket pasted on top of the STEREO word. Also, some Popsike listings note that the Mono version was for radio stations only. This jacket does not have this sticker. It does have what looks like a price sticker stain top right under the catalog numbers, and a bargain bin notch at that location as well. It has the BLP 4260 on the label to the left of the spindle hole, and these matrices (which don't include the VAN GELDER stamp):
Matrix / Runout (Label, side A): BN 4260-A Matrix / Runout (Label, side B): BN 4260-B Matrix / Runout (Runout A): BNLP-4260-A Matrix / Runout (Runout B): BNLP-4260-B
It also has a serif for 1 in "Side 1".
The jacket has light to moderate corner wear, no splits, faint ring front jacket, and a "Blevins House of Records" red stamp on back jacket. LP stored in original Liberty inner sleeve, split on bottom and one side 4-5", LOOKS QUITE PLAYABLE with a faint scratch or scuff over clean vinyl, probably in the VG++ to NM range, I'll grade VG++.
