You can type Goldisc pressing discogs, or kendun pressing discogs and get to the information below.
Curiously, the 2 sides have different mastering company indications. Both KENDUN and STERLING did masters. GOL suggests Goldisc did the pressing, at least Side 2.
Goldisc pressing, listed as K-9347, 2 versions. My Side 1 Deadwax matches the Side 1 of the “Test Pressing” example which has the “IGGY POP -1A” crossed through.
Otherwise, both sides’ Deadwax match Variant 1, with K-9347 and K-9555.
Kendun Recorders pressings, listed as BLP 4001, 3 versions. The 2 1977 versions are the same as the Goldisc listings.
Supposedly recorded in 1975 as an attempt to get back in the game. Iggy is said to have been in and out of rehab during the recordings.
This production is NOT an extension of Raw Power. Lower fidelity or whatever reduces the impact here. Iggy still has his vocal presentation though.
You’ll have to fiddle with your systems knobs, buttons, gauges to bring out a full sound.
We Stooges fans of the day stayed loyal, always anxious for more. The green vinyl was an extra attraction.
