Extremely rare and much sought after LP by Led Zeppelin called Led Zeppelin 4 (IV or Runes or Four Symbols or just untitled). This LP is a genuine first UK pressing and comes on the plum/red Atlantic label. The LP was released in 1971.
The sleeve is in VG+ condition. There is slight wear to the corners and very slight wear to a couple of the edges - but no wear to the spine. There is no fraying to the open edge which remains quite sharp. The inner gatefold is in excellent condition. There is slight sticker residue on the back cover - just above the block of flats.
The original paper lyric inner sleeve is in good- condition but suffered from one or two tears and sellotape residue on the edges.
The vinyl is in excellent condition with marks consistent with age and having been housed in the original card paper inner. However, over recent years the LP has been kept in a polylined sleeve.
This LP has been play tested - and plays excellently (almost perfectly!!!) with no surface/background noise, no crackles, pops, or jumps.
There is slight evidence of spindlewear on the labels.
Cat Number: 2401012 - matrix: A3/B3 - "PORKY" and "PECKO DUCK" etched in the run off grooves.
