Description
The Beatles Please Please Me album in 3rd mono pressing.
This is Discogs release number 4064647 (go on the Discogs website and add "release/4064647" to the URL to see details) - it's Yellow/Black labels, with 1N matrices on both sides.
Condition is VG according to Goldmine standards - there is surface noise, but it is light and not obtrusive. The music rings out really loud & clear, with no sign of deterioration or inner groove distortion - in fact, it sounds huge; these early 60's pressings were heavy & built to last!
Cover is as seen: there's writing on the reverse, the cardboard is creased & has puffed out in places, but there's no tears or seam splits, and the spine is well-preserved. I think it’s been stored poorly in the past, but looks better for sitting in a collection already - only selling because I have a good mono PPM already, but this isn’t far off the audio standard of my main copy.
Discogs median value for a copy in this condition is somewhere between £25 and £50, and so am pricing sensibly for eBay sale - NO OFFERS, given this is a great price for an original 60's Beatles album in solid playing condition.
Will be packaged and sent securely in good-quality cardboard record mailer.
