I decided to sell some off my personal collection. At the time of each listing, I am giving a listen to both sides (testing) and add a bit of the listening details you just can’t see in pictures. Nothing worse than putting out money and hearing a nasty skip when you get a chance to give it a spin. This is what my main focus is going to be. I’m also happy to provide more pics upon request and answer any questions. I’m not a pro, I do most research on Discogs and sometimes I still don’t understand what exact pressing or from what plant my copy is from.
This is a John Coltrane album. You don’t collect Coltrane albums, you covet them. Learned that from the guy that ran second to me when I was putting these in my box at an estate sale. A well kept copy here. The cover is one of those laminated high gloss layered cover. Kid gloves always. Cover image has avoided damage and has some eye popping attributes. The inner sleeve appears to be original and has no splits. A sign of less handling. There are visible scuff and marks on both sides. Plays without skipping or popping, however there is surface noise. What ever you set your ear to listen to. If you want to focus on static or the music, both can be accomplished. I can enjoy this really easily. It’s checks all my boxes. It is an asset.
