Description

Up for auction is the pictured lp "East of Eden" titled Snafu on Deram SML1050.

I have no hesitation in grading the vinyl as Excellent+++.I never grade a record as mint because in my opinion no second hand record ever is.This one is no exception as it has a spindle mark to each side where I have played it, but that is it faultwise.There are no marks to the playing surfaces on either side,not even when silhouetted to strong light.The record shines polished black as a new record would and I doubt it was ever played before I acquired it.Playwise both sides play near mint.It plays crisp and clear with no audible pops,ticks,clicks etc.For the technical amongst you it  was played with a Shure elyptical stylus with a tracking weight of 1.25grms.This would pick up any imperfection as I know from other records I have!

The cover I grade as excellent,It has no indentations,tears writings on etc.The only things worth mentioning for total accuracy is slight ringwear to the opening edge of the rear of the sleeve(see listing photo) and a little wear to the top right corner of the front of the sleeve(again see listing photo)The spine as can be seen from the listing photo is crystal clear and undamaged.

The inner sleeve is also good and the original.

I never exaggerate my gradings(done to Record Collector guidelines) as this only leads to dissappointment and animosity and is not worth the hassle.Read my positive feedbacks on descriptions if you are in any doubt on the few records I have sold.

I am aware this record is hard to find but in this condition it is extremely rare and to add cream to this it is a first pressing.It has the stampers ZAL-9435.P-1W to side1 and ZAL-9436.P-1W to side2.

If you are looking for a near perfect copy,first pressing of this record you won`t be dissapointed with this one.

Posting,I always post in a professionally made cardboard record mailer with extra card stiffeners for added protection.I also remove the record from it`s outer sleeve to avoid damage to the sleeve.to the wining bidder it will be shipped first class recorded delivery.
