Description

This is Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member LaVern Baker singing her first LP "LaVern" on Atlantic 8002 from 1957. The record looks VG++ with minor surface markings. For the most part this record plays VG++ with minor noises but on some of the slower songs there is more noticeable noise. This record comes in an Atlantic Records inner sleeve. The jacket is still in its shrink wrap and is in NM condition. This album comes in a clear, resealable, poly-vinyl protective sleeve. Price guides suggest a valuation of $350 to $500 for a NM copy. Because of the noise factor you can own this copy for 50% of that lower valuation. Also included is an 8-page magazine article on LaVern including an extensive discography.
