Description
This is RCA Victor Records LSC-2456, Lalo Symphonie Espagnole Henryk Szeryng Hendl CSO, an original stereo, red, shaded dog, deep groove label issue of this classic record with 1s/3s "I" in the dead wax. This is a tough one to grade. For 1/2" at the beginning of side two it looks like a heat warp damaged the groove. However, it plays through quite nicely with a light low rumbling woosh audible from about 30 seconds to about 2 minutes. The rest of the record plays excellently. I don't know what grade is proper but since they ask me, I have entered VG. It is a fine listening experience for this rare record. The cover shows some shelf wear but is excellent and intact. The labels are excellent. An original inner sleeve is included. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12.
