Description
This is a RARE and desirable copy of the 1st Led Zeppelin album on Atlantic records SD 8216 STEREO. This is the first pressing/possible mistake pressing of the album on the purple and brown Atlantic label. This is a must own for any serious Led Zeppelin collector. The cover is VG+ with some light staining on the front bottom left. There is some flaking around the edges, most predominantly at the corners on the spine side. There are 2 very small (< 1/4") splits at the opening, top and bottom. Overall this is a very nice cover.
Labels are very clean and a strong VG+ with some writing on the A side (see pictures). The Vinyl still has a lot of the original shine. It has been played though and I'm going to call it VG, but it is just a couple marks from VG+. There is only 1 small mark that can be felt, everything else is light marking. This is a very nice copy of this rare Zeppelin album that isn't offered for sale very often.
