This is a great original copy of the official concert programme for the 1969 Bath Festival Of Blues. This is NOT a reprint!!!

This was the first major appearance by Led Zeppelin who were some way down the bill, sandwiched between Chicken Shack and John Mayall.

Also appearaing were Colosseum, Edgar Broughton, Taste, The Nice, Blodwyn Pig, Ten Years After and the headliners were Fleetwood Mac (although Principal Edwards Magic Theatre are billed above Fleetwood Mac for some reason...)

This is a great early UK programme with black and white pages of text, photos and adverts. The back page carries a fantastic advert for gigs at the Bath Pavilion, including, on Monday 4th August 1969, The Who (with their hit, 'Something In The Air'... erm, I think not!)

For its age and fragility, this programme is in remarkably good condition. So few of these have survived the last 35 years. Although the middle pages have come loose from the one original staple, this programme is complete. It has some moderate wear and a crease to the front cover, but there are no tears (other than a few incredibly small 'nicks') and no writing or other damage. It is still bright and clean and is a great example of an extremely rare programme.

This is a very important item for Led Zeppelin collectors. In many ways, this is where the legend first began. Two years later, they were back at the Bath Festival, this time as headliners.
