Description
Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin
1969 1st pressing of Led Zeppelin's debut album. This rare early version has the Superhype Music publisher credit, the runout matrix with the scratched-out and hand-etched 8 "correction", the fully laminated sleeve, orange lettering, the silver grey bar along the bottom edge of the front cover, and the early red and plum-coloured Atlantic label.
Condition is "Used". The Goldmine Grading Guide is used to grade vinyl.
Visually, the album has a bit of faint scuffing on both sides. After cleaning, I’ve test-played the entire album, details as follows:
Side 1: VG, a little very faint surface noise here and there, most obvious between tracks, but not off-putting, in fact it generally plays really well. The odd faint pop here and there.
Side 2: VG, again, some faint surface noise at the start of track 1 and then most obvious between tracks, but again, not off-putting, this side also generally plays really well. The odd faint pop here and there, with a couple of slightly louder ones on the last track.
Centre labels are VG+, some spindle marks showing, no writing or sticky labels present.
Outer sleeve: VG, a small amount corner wear, some creasing at top left corner and also at right hand side where sleeve opening is, see pic. Top and bottom seams are fine, the spine has a few separate cracks of wear, but nothing to write home about. There are no seam splits. There is a little discolouration on the white parts of the front cover, see pic. There is also a little ring-wear showing through on the front.
Inner sleeve: generic white sleeve with a polythene lining, some discolouration around edges.

- Both sides have a hand etched "8", above the second stamped 8 from left, which has been struck through - see pic.
Additional Info
This album has been cleaned, visually inspected and test-played before grading.
It will be packaged using a sturdy cardboard case, internal bubble wrapping and stiffening, etc, and the disk and inner sleeve separated from the outer sleeve to prevent seam damage.
