Description
Estate found from a local collector and out of the same collection we are selling the other 2 Led Zeppelin albums from is an excellent and very rare first pressing of Led Zeppelin I with the purple and tan label . Catalog number is Atlantic SD8216. Comes with both the original and a newer interior record sleeve.
I am not a collector but will try and grade accordingly.
Overall condition is super nice and I would say on the excellent/near mint end of the grading spectrum.
The album has been stored in an album sleeve and shows minimal wear. I guess there is the slightest bit of rubbing to the cover graphics (from the plastic sleeve) but i have to say it is pretty close to mint and in superior overall condition. Colors still look great with the tiniest bit of facing to the white along the spine edge. Definitely A/A+ original condition on the cardboard
The vinyl is exceptionally clean as well and I would say it is in excellent condition with both sides showing the slightest bit of wear. A few really light surface scratches but nothing that would effect the sound. Has obviously been very well taken care of. I angled it in the light to try and give very detailed pictures. What you see is what you get.
