Led Zeppelin II OG SEALED Vinyl LP Record SHRINK LUDWIG RL???? 1969 RARE ROCK. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Media Mail.
This is a very very rare sealed copy of Led Zeppelin II. According to my research this MAY be a Ludwig hot mix copy but of course I have no way to confirm or deny that. All I know is if it has a Gold Record Award sticker, it is not an RL. This copy does not have that and also does not have the hype sticker for “Whole Lotta Love”, a single that was released off the album AFTER the albums release, meaning copies with that sticker are less likely to be Ludwig pressings. This copy only has the rear track list sticker. This copy also has a green “Stereo” tab at the top of the spine. With this information and versions listed on Discogs I can place this copy from a first RL 1969 pressing to an early 70s pressing. I remember my RL Presswell copy being heavier than this one so if it is an RL it is probably a Terre Haute pressing or a Pitman pressing as these plants pressed lighter records than the ultra heavy Presswell plant.
Vinyl Grade: SEALED
I have no way to grade the record but I do believe it is free of any defects as there is no major damage to the cover itself that would cause the record to be damaged as well. As this is a sealed record I will not accept returns if it is opened. I will open it at the buyer’s request to ensure safe shipping but this also applies to the no returns policy. However I will take returns if this record is NOT opened.
Cover Grade: NM
Jacket is NM, would be Mint if not for some light corner wear. Very small break in shrink caused slight wear at bottom seam right by the mouth, a very small break in shrink on back and a very small break on the bottom seam. No other breaks in shrinkwrap. Very solid spine, still not squashed after all these years.
This record will be shipped insured USPS Priority Mail at no cost to the buyer.
