Description
LED ZEPPELIN - 'LED ZEPPELIN II'
This early UK 2nd pressing of their second second studio album dates from late 1969 and is on the 'plum' Atlantic label: 588198
The side 1 label lists track 3 as 'The Lemon Song' and track 2 on side 2 as 'Livin' Lovin' Maid (She's A Woman)'.
The 'Lemon Song' title was changed to 'The Killing Floor' on subsequent pressings.

Housed within a unlaminated mid-brown 'E.J. Day & Co..' printed gatefold cover with only the rear pocket opening.

A clean & unblemished pair showing a small collection of light, well-aimed spindle trails visible around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Pristine, deep-gloss playing surfaces which are both unmarked and 'as new' when viewed in strong daylight. Close and careful inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals just some harmless wispy paper-type hairlines consistent with inner-sleeve removal but no other blemishes or wear at all. Both sides of this well looked-after copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: MINT
Spectacular audio from this barely played copy which sound magnificent and flawless throughout and will not disappoint.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A strong and clean example of this easily worn cover with retains are unworn front panel free from any storage marks or blemishes. There is some shelfwear to the left corners mostly and a hint of wear to the rear opening edges but no tears or feathering. The rear panel bears a slight disc impression from storage but no other marks or wear.
The inside of the gatefold is immaculate and completely unmarked.
The spine is a little dirty but all of the text is present and readable.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & flat with some light age-toning, but no writing, seam splits or tears.
