Description

Zeppelin IV LP a 1st issue from late 1971 on the UK Atlantic label. Matrix A3/B4. Etchings 'Porky/Pecko'. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover. Also included is the original textured lyric inner sleeve with the fold overs exposed on the outside. Please note the Atlantic sticker on the rear is indicating that the catalogue numbers on Zep records around this time were about to change to ones with the prefix 'K' - to highlight that Kinney now own the record group.
Vinyl (Ex) In superb shape and clearly has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is minimal and we only detected a touch of light static momentarily in a couple of the acoustic numbers. Sound quality is breathtaking - when you've heard a decent copy like this you'll understand what all the fuss is about...
Cover (Vg+) Still in great shape and only exhibiting some light ageing to the exterior. In all other respects it is very nice indeed. No nasty tears or creasing. There's some edge wear apparent, but nothing significant. The interior is pretty much immaculate. Overall the cover still retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg) In pretty decent condition, but there are two side splits that have been taped up.
