Description
DESCRIPTION: Led Zeppelin LP- IV, 4, ZOSO, untitled . 1ST UK pressing with third red/plum labels (Misty Mountain Hop), No Peter Grant credit and Atlantic in central white band. A3/B4 (PECKO DUCK/PORKY) matrix. Dull matt gate fold sleeve . Please note the printed inner with this is from a later 1970s German pressing. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Atlantic 2401 002 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1971: COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER):CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): G/VG. Vinyl is clean with a pretty decent sheen. It has a fair few hairlines and surface lines, mainly on side 1. Played all of this on my budget deck this morning. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Sounds generally not too far off VG. The louder fuller tracks play well. The quieter passages/tracks have some ticks - most noticeable in "The Battle Of Evermore", "Stairway To Heaven" and "Going To California". Not really any crackle or other background sound otherwise. Music remains loud and prominent throughout and it plays through without skips or sticks. Cover is in decent condition and retains decent shape. It is firm and square with moderate to heavy edgewear, moderate corner wear and only light creasing.Very clean inside to gatefold. Later 70s printed inner is VG, decent condition. Really clean labels -please check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER LED ZEP/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE.
